As North Carolina battles COVID-19, I've been encouraged to see our state pull together. Thank you so much for doing the right things: washing your hands, staying home, checking on your neighbor and pitching in where you can.
All of our hearts go out to those who have been affected by this pandemic, from people who have fallen ill to those who have lost jobs.
There are ways each of us can help. I'm writing today to encourage you to take a look at the NC Restaurant Workers Relief Fund, a nonprofit set up to help servers, cooks, dishwashers, housekeepers, and bartenders who have lost their jobs in the past few weeks.
This fund allows you to leave a "tip" by donating online. The money then goes directly to a restaurant worker impacted by this pandemic.

GOVERNOR COOPER'S VETO IS RECKLESS AT A TIME WHEN SO MANY ARE CONCERNED ABOUT FOREIGN INTERFERENCE WITH OUR ELECTIONS."
